Mirjam Braun

MIRJAM BRAUN finished her studies in 2015 as an awarded master of arts for flute at the Mo-zarteum in Salzburg, Austria. Since then she´s active playing in several chamber music ensembles and orchestras. She also performed as a soloist on international stages and took part in master-classes both in Austria and foreign countries to develop her skills further. As a teacher she has worked with flute classes at different music schools and is teaching young talents as a private teacher. Mirjam regularly plays in the Tirolian ensemble for contemporary music and furthermore performing with the Mozarteum orchestra in Salzburg, the string ensemble “Sonarkraft” and her Tangoduo Braun/Pröckl.

As a member of the “Austrian Flute Society”, the “German Flute society” and the fluteclub “Syrinx” she´s actively supporting the flute scene by organizing events and publishes articles in the magazine “Föte aktuell”.
